Vegetarian Vegan Mapo Tofu Recipe




How To Be vegetarian - In my previous post, we have discuss about How To Be Vegetarian and Delicious Italian Tricolore Soup Recipes. Now I will introduce another Vegetarian Food Recipes named Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Recipe with a little modification in how to make it. Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Recipe is easy to serve and also delicious (for me) and I think this recipe can be serve and make not more than 15 minutes to prepare all the ingredients and 10 minutes to cook the vegetarian mapo tofu recipe. In this Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Recipe I combine the Sichuan Ma Po Tofu original recipes with vegetarian type, so this Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Recipe is pure for VEGETARIAN and 100% for VEGAN, so here is the step by step and ingredients for making the Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Recipe:


Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Recipe Basic Ingredients:
  • ½ cup of green peas
  • ½ cup of vegetable broth
  • 2 tsp(teaspoons) cornstarch
  • ½ tbsp (tablespoons) of water mixed with 2 tsp (teaspoons) cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp (tablespoon) of olive oil
  • 2 block of firm tofu (any size but medium size is recommended), then cut it into ½
  • 3 tbps (tablespoons) salted fermented black beans

Vegetarian Mapo Tofu Recipe Seasoning Ingredients:
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp (teaspoon) of salt
  • 2 tbsp (tablespoon) of chili bean paste
  • 4 prigs of green onion and cut it into a quarter (¼) length
  • 2 tbsp (tablespoon) of light soy sauce (or any kind of soy sauce)
  • 1 tbsp (tablespoon) ginger that grated
  • 1 tsp (teaspoon) freshly sichuan paper

  1. Boil water in a saucepan
  2. Drop the tofu and wait it for 1 minutes
  3. Remove and drain tofu from the boiling water
  4. Heat The olive oil (oil), and put the salted black beans, stir – fry it for 1 minutes.
  5. Put and add garlic, chili bean paste, salt, half of the green onion, and ginger, then stir-fry for 2 minutes
  6. Add the tofu, soy sauce, the vegetable broth, simmer for the next 5 minutes
  7. Put and stir the peas to your cook for 30 seconds then stir in cornstarch and water mixture.
  8. Add sichuan pepper, green onion and sprinkle it
  9. Serve hot it will be better
  10. Finish, you can serve Vegetarian Mapo Tofu now
