  • 2 cups pulut rice (soaked overnight)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs (lightly beaten already)
  • 6 Tbs. sugar
  • a few drops inexperienced or yellow coloring
  • 2 tsp. custard powder

Vegetarian Pulut Seri Muka Kuih Salat Recipes Method:
  1. Squeeze out five oz. (150ml.) 1st santan from grated coconuts.
  2. Add slightly water to grated coconut and squeeze out ten oz. (300ml.) second santan.
  3. Drain pulut rice and blend with salt and second santan. place in a very shallow sq. tray.
  4. Steam twenty five minutes. Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoon of 1st santan over rice and steam another five minutes.
  5. Mix eggs with sugar, inexperienced colouring, custard powder and remainder of 1st santan until swish.
  6. Press down rice layer to create it compact. Pour egg mixture over rice.
  7. Steam concerning twenty five minutes until topping sets.
  8. Cool well before cutting into desired shapes to serve.
