Easy Borscht Soup Recipe Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded beets
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 parsnip, shredded
- 2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
- 1 onion, diced

- 2-3 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice

- 16 oz. will Hunt's tomato puree
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 tsp. dill weed or contemporary dill, minced
Easy Borscht Soup Recipe Steps
- Cook shredded vegetables during a saucepan till tender, adding only enough water or chicken broth to hide. Simmer till tender.
- Lightly sauté the onion in olive oil till soft however not browned. Add the garlic to the onions once they have been cooking for two minutes. Add the onion and garlic to the cooked vegetables, then stir within the remaining ingerdients and warmth through.
Season to style with salt and pepper.
